Conference/Seminar on Risk Management and Insurance for the
Air Transport and Aviation Industry

Pagnanelli Risk Solutions Ltd are organising a Conference on Risk Management and Insurance for the Air Transport and Aviation Industry, followed on the same day by two workshops. Among the most interesting themes is the threat of terrorism which sees the air transport industry particularly exposed to. The insurance aspects connected with the terrorism risk are of fundamental importance for the sector. In fact, the insufficiency of private insurance and the inadequacy or absence of State warranty schemes could lead to partial or total suspension of this essential service.

The other themes which will be discussed are the Manufacturers product liability, the actual state of rules which regulate air transport (black list) and the status of the aviation insurance market in general.

In the afternoon, the two workshops will focus on the Aviation product liability issues and the most recent developments in the national and international insurance markets. The participants will present and discuss practical cases of risk management and insurance implications. Furthermore, consideration will be made on the capacity of the insurance and reinsurance market, policies leadership, companies' security, policy clauses, reinsurance conditions such as the so called "Claims control" and "Claims cooperation clauses", etc.

Experts and high level professionals in air transport and insurance/risk management will take part at the works.
